Painted flat black with gloss black toes and buttons, interior of each is finished in a high gloss black as well. These belonged to my Mom -- I believe she purchased them in the 1960s or 1970s - condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - -there is a hint of scuffing - that's all I could find. These are just charming - unless you pick them up, it is hard to tell they are not real shoes.
